Copper Slag
Iron silicate
Copper slag, also known as iron silicate abrasive, is a disposable blasting media produced as a by-product of copper smelting. Due to its angular particle structure and high cleaning efficiency, it is widely used for surface preparation of steel, stone and concrete. Copper slag is particularly effective in removing mill scale, rust, old paint and other contaminants prior to coating or painting applications.
